Embodied Imagination® is a profound way to bring a dream, symptom or memory to life.

The EI training offers fascinating theory seminars, but my main learning came from the group process of applying EI to someone’s dream and seeing new perspectives emerge, every single time.

Over three years we shared in each other’s dream material and learned the fine art of EI by practicing together.

The reading placed EI in its philosophical and cultural context, where phenomenology, psychotherapy and science intersect. I enjoyed opening my mind to new concepts and ways of seeing.

The course offers a genuine holding environment, in which each person can grow and be seen. I experienced deep transformation in my sense of self, through the combination of shared practice, theoretical learning and in-depth personal sessions with an experienced facilitator.

The course has certainly enriched my range of experiential therapy techniques, and has helped me heal some old wounds. Our group offered support for each person’s journey, which deepened as we travelled together.

I feel profound personal change has occurred for me through the whole experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn at such depth, and for the warm friendships I developed along the way.

As a new graduate of the international Embodied Imagination® course I feel excited, prepared and confident to step up, work with and further my skills in this resourceful, creative and therapeutic methodology.

The course was an interactive delight – the supervised partner work offered a great way to learn the method, the readings and webinars to help me grasp theory always fascinated, guest speakers from around the world brought authenticity and depth, and the intensives were wonderful.

I recommend this course unreservedly as a positive learning experience that is good value for its cost, with great teachers. I felt in safe hands.

Attending the Embodied Imagination® training was a profound experience for me! Training with Robert Bosnak was incredible, and I am left with a deep sense of appreciation and gratitude for. The training program was masterfully structured, blending theory with experiential practice in a way that was both challenging and deeply rewarding. Bosnak’s expertise and passion for his work were evident throughout the training, and his ability to create a safe, inspiring space for exploration allowed for true learning, and growth with the material. I felt a deep sense of connection—not only with the material and my inner world but with the other trainees and trainers. Lifelong friendships for sure. This training opened my eyes to new possibilities of healing and creativity, and I left feeling awed, inspired, and equipped with powerful tools that I can apply in both my personal and professional life. It was an extraordinary experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking to know more about Dreams, Imagination and Embodiment!”

Attending the Embodied Imagination® training with Robert Bosnak was nothing short of a transformative, incredible experience. Bosnak, the brilliant creator of this method, guided us on a profound journey that went beyond mere technique—it was a deep dive into the realms of dreams, imagination, embodiment, healing and creativity. The course content was rich and multifaceted, one of my personal favourites was the drawing on the groundbreaking work of James Hillman’s Archetypal psychology and Alchemy. Merleau Ponty and his writings on Phenomenology was also inspiring.

The introduction of Henry Corbin’s Mundus Imaginalis, the concept of the imaginal world as a bridge between the physical and spiritual is what really altered my whole world view. This allowed for an experiential exploration of the ‘in-between’ worlds where imagination becomes real and transformative. The training was a beautiful blend of theory and deep practice, creating a space where I could explore my own inner landscapes in ways I never thought possible, thanks to the art of embodiment.

Bosnak’s depth of knowledge and refined attunement made each intensive feel full and incredible. I left the training not only with powerful tools for personal and professional use but also with a newfound appreciation for the interplay between dreams, imagination, memory, and embodied experience. It was a truly enriching and profound journey—one I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an exciting adventure!
